Our Mission

To help believers walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ along the ancient paths of humility, obedience, prayer, Scripture, service, and love. Not in isolation – Not in a monastery.
But as pilgrims in this world, shining the light of Christ in their homes, workplaces, friendships, and cities.
It is a community of people who want to grow deeper, pray more faithfully, love more fully, and live more intentionally for the glory of God, because we are disciples of Jesus Christ and have set our hearts on following His example.

Our Values

Our beliefs are guided by the Holy Scriptures and the Apostles’ Creed. We walk the Pilgrim’s Road, not to earn God’s favour, but because we are His children through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, have been born again by His Spirit and are called to walk as Jesus walked – Jesus – the Way, the Truth and the Life. We seek the Ancient Paths, where holiness and mercy meet, and where the dust of our Master’s feet marks the way ahead.

1. Our Calling

We, the members of The Fellowship of The Way, are pilgrims on the road of faith — followers of Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Our purpose is to walk together in His footsteps, learning His ways, living His words, and loving as He loved.

We walk the Pilgrim’s Road, not to earn God’s favour, but to live from it. We seek the Ancient Paths, where holiness and mercy meet, and where the dust of our Master’s feet marks the way ahead.

“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths… and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” — Jeremiah 6:16

2. Our Foundation — Life in the Spirit

Every member of the Fellowship is called first to be born again through faith in Jesus Christ, receiving new life through His death and resurrection. We believe the Christian journey begins with spiritual rebirth and continues in the power of the Holy Spirit, who indwells, guides, and transforms every believer to walk as Jesus walked.

We seek to walk continuously in the Spirit — listening for His voice, yielding to His leading, and bearing the fruit of love, joy, peace, and holiness.

Our beliefs are guided by the Holy Scriptures and The Apostle’s Creed.

“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” — Galatians 5:25

3. Our Commitments

Each member of the Fellowship seeks to live the Gospel rhythm through daily disciplines of prayer, Scripture reading, praise and worship, simplicity, gratitude, loving action, and connection with others. Weekly, we study the Word together, gather for fellowship and worship, fast, and serve in our communities (intentional acts of service). Annually, we renew our vows through retreat or pilgrimage, for personal reflection and prayer. This is followed by a renewal of our commitment to continue to walk this journey and to grow in spiritual maturity on this Pilgrim’s Road.

4. Our Spiritual Commitments — The Heart of the Pilgrim

We embrace five gospel-shaped commitments as guides for our journey:

1. Simplicity — to walk lightly on the earth.

2. Purity of Heart — to seek holiness in all things.

3. Obedience to Christ — to follow His Spirit faithfully.

4. Community — to walk together in service, love and forgiveness.

5. Mission — to bring light to the world.

“If you love me, keep my commandments… Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” – John 14:15, 23.

5. Our Renewal — Continuing the Journey

Each year, members reflect on their spiritual journey and renew their commitment or covenant to continue walking the Way of Jesus with humility and joy, trusting not in their strength, but in the grace of Christ, who walks beside us. This covenant is entirely voluntary and is based on your desire to follow Jesus in an intentional way and to walk the journey with a fellowship of fellow pilgrims.

The commitment or COVENANT is between you and God. You are not answerable to The Fellowship of The Way – you are answerable to God alone.

“Come, follow Me,” said Jesus. “Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” — John 8:12

The Fellowship of The Way — Covenant of Commitment

“As a pilgrim on the Way of Jesus Christ, I offer myself anew to walk in His footsteps, obey His teachings, as I am guided and empowered by His Spirit and sustained by His grace.”

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that through faith in Him I have been born again by the Spirit of God.

In response to His mercy and call, I commit myself — freely and joyfully — to walk the Pilgrim’s Road with my brothers and sisters in The Fellowship of The Way.

I pledge to live by the Rule of Life of this Fellowship: to pray daily, to love deeply, to walk humbly, and to serve faithfully in the power of the Holy Spirit.

I will seek the Ancient Paths, where holiness and mercy meet, and I will follow Jesus — the Shepherd and Companion of my soul — wherever He leads.

With God’s help, I will walk this Way until my journey’s end, when faith becomes sight and love remains forever.
